There are no canisters that remain there 100% of the time, even when the cover is closed. If I even need more space when hauling something around, the Peragon cover can be quickly and completely removed in less than a minute. The 30-second claim on their website is actually accurate and you could easily do it by yourself since it’s relatively light.
