You’re trading that for the ability to be able to stop at any distance along the rail giving you more versatility on how much are your bed you want open. This is a polycarbonate cover and it’s backed by a three-year warranty. It’s all black.

They have the aluminum option. It’s called a Retracts Pro. This one’s backed by a lifetime warranty. Supports 500 pounds of weight on top. Slides back on sealed ball bearings. So they prevent a lot of freezing. Cover locks at any distance along the rails.

Retrax Pro is fantastic because not only you slide and unlock it but it’s all-aluminum. It’s a great choice for people who want to keep really expensive stuff sealed or protected if you have your hockey equipment or you have spear equipment or golfing equipment. If you are in the trade so you have tools that you want to keep protected. This would be really great. this would be one of the more secure options. The other part that I really like is that you can look anywhere you want. So you don’t have to worry about having one panel open,  you can put anything you want and hold it in place, and lock it.
